Welcome

Hello!

We are sailors on yachts, on old rigs, fishing or on the rivers. We do marine carpentry, welding, in-board mechanics or simply we are people attached to the sea.

We suffer from sexism, homophobia, transphobia, on the water
or in our access to the sea. This network exists for us, to
try to thwart these discriminations, with a feminist and anti-racist look

Here are 3 tools available to us:

  • A web blog (on which you are currently). This blog is for us and by us (so by you who read too!). It serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and storing documents. Feel free, therefore, to publish articles! (For this, write us on the list seawhoⒶlists.riseup.net and we will send you the administrative codes of the blog)
  •  A mailing list: it serves us to publish what is urgent, such as navigation announcements, offers of convoying, work, a call to the rescue on a discrimination experienced or a construction site to be completed, etc … If you are not already on it, register on this list by writing an email to seawholists.riseup.net (change the Ⓐ into an @)
  • A facebook page to join international people : https://www.facebook.com/SeaWomen-338604079995688/

In 2021, seawomen changed its name for Seawho.
